Education offered
Developing new anticancer agents is distinctly different from drug development in most other therapeutic areas. This intensive training course provides specific knowledge on the preclinical and clinical development of new anticancer agents, in particular in Europe. The course will also address relevant strategic, regulatory and scientific issues in drug development. Since successful anticancer drug development requires a basic understanding of tumor biology, cancer diagnosis, and routine patient management, an important part of the course will be devoted to tumor biology, pathology and clinical management of patients with cancer.
