MCCM was established by merging the conference activities of Convenience Conference Management and Lobbezoo Medical Communications. These companies had been collaborating on a continuous basis in various conference projects long before merging their activities into MCCM. Thus, MCCM was founded on the solid basis of years’ long successful collaboration by its founders, Nicolette van Erven and Marinus Lobbezoo.
Having trained in travel and tourism and after having headed the VU University’s Congress Bureau for nine years, Nicolette van Erven established Convenience Conference Management in 2002, a company providing professional meeting services to customers in various segments, including industry, academia, and consultancy companies.
Marinus Lobbezoo holds a Ph.D. degree in medicinal chemistry and has over 25 years of experience in biomedical research, medical communication & education, and meeting management. He has been involved in drug development in various therapeutic areas as well as in medical publishing.
